Above before & after picture depicts how I removed the inoperative pump organ parts and repositioned the keyboard keys, keyboard shelf and scrolled music stand to the back part of the organ case. I made the desktop from the rosewood cover and then proceeded to refinish this wonderful rosewood piece using multiple layers of hand rubbed/buffed natural tung oil back into the rosewood. The large bolster rosewood legs adds great beauty to this American made treasure. I expect this fully functioning writing desk will be around for another century.
